Hi, I’m Amy, the face behind Butler For Pets!

I’ve always had a huge love for dogs and all animals in general, I understand how important it is to know your four-legged friend is being looked after by someone you can trust. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, some extra attention while you’re at work, or simply a friendly face to spend time with, I’m here to provide a safe, caring and reliable service.

Based in Essex, I offer personalised dog walking tailored to each dog’s personality, energy levels and individual needs. I believe every dog is different, and I take the time to build a genuine bond with every dog I look after.

My goal is simple — happy pets, happy owners, and a service you can feel confident relying on.

Amy is the only person in the world I trust wholeheartedly to walk and care for my dog. My dog absolutely adores Amy and I never have to ask for pup dates! I’m sent incredible pictures and videos throughout the day on how he’s doing in her care. I personally don’t feel like Amy charges enough for what she does because she will go to the end of space and back again just to help/care or even rescue animals in need. I feel completely at ease when Amy has my dog, I never thought anyone loved dogs as much as I do until I met her (funnily enough through dogs)! Thank you Amy, I can’t thank you enough 🤍

Butler for pets are amazing!! They go above and beyond! We recently rehomed a lovely, young whippet collie cross who has seperation anxiety. Amy has been absolutely amazing in helping us help our boy settle. The time and effort they give goes to show that they do this simply because of there love for animals, and the help that me and my partner receive on a daily basis, for all our questions no matter the time of day is just one of the many reasons we would recommend butler for pets to anyone! We will continue to use this amazing company and are lucky to have found them. Thank you!

Amy and Adam have been brilliant with our pup, Ralph! As an over-protective dog mum, I really appreciate the regular updates and messages, they always give me so much reassurance knowing Ralph is happy, settled, and in such caring hands.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for friendly, reliable pet sitters. They have also really helped us out recently when our original dog sitter cancelled just a few weeks before our wedding, so knowing Ralph will be with them on our big day is one less thing to worry about!

My fur baby Cooper, a spaniel/staff cross has been spending time 3 days per week with Butler For Pets since December. He is always thrilled to see Amy and Adam. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only do they take him on regular walks, they also check in on him if our family have to leave him for any length of time. They are 100% trustworthy. Don't know what we'd do without them!

We’d been searching for a dog walker for months and had almost given up after being ignored by so many! Our two rescues are not for the faint hearted, both with their own quirks but from day one Amy has gone above and beyond to make sure they get their exercise and enrichment and they’ve fallen in love with her! Couldn’t recommend her services enough.

I am positive my dogs love Amy more than they love me!

Amy is a true animal lover. My two rescue cats immediately trusted her. She also went above and beyond and cared for my young son's stick insects. We will definitely make use of her friendly services again

We were recommended Butler For Pets by a friend and this was the first time we have used a pet service.
We were extremely happy with their service. Amy shared lovely updates on how Garfield was getting. Communication was excellent. Both Amy and Adam were very lovely and we felt reassured and comfortable with them. We will definitely be using their services again. Thanks

Where to start. We searched for miles for the right person to look after our 9 stone baby. We weren’t going to settle for just anyone and almost gave up. Then along came Amy and Adam and we couldn’t believe our luck. We had Amy and Adam staying in our home this week, looking after our dog and our cat. The updates were perfect, the photos/videos were lovely and most importantly our fur babies were looked after as if they were their own. We came home to a clean home, fresh bread and milk. We have booked again ❤️

We had a fantastic experience with Butler for Pets. Amy and Adam were brilliant from the very first interaction - professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable.

They came to meet our dogs (2 x cavapoos) and tortoises (3 x dwarf hermanns) in advance, and it was obvious straight away how well they connected with them. Our dogs took to them instantly, which gave us real confidence.

Throughout our time away, we received regular updates, and we came home to happy, healthy pets who had clearly been very well looked after.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Butler for Pets and will absolutely be using them again.
